You Know You're a Little Too Grown Up When....

... your idea of being mischievous is getting off the elevator - and pressing the buttons for all the other floors as you exit alone. You know, just to slow things down.

Man, I am so lame.

In more exciting news, YaY!! Welcome back Sadie (part three, small ear edition)

  • I said hello to Sadie today, er, tonight!

Now that Son is in Cali, I have some more time to blog, and surf, and fun stuff like that.

  • I did that to the elevator in my old apartment building all the time. Awesomeness.

Tonight, I was giving Southercanadian cancer with her own laser pointer. I lost her friendship for 2 minutes repeatedly.

  • Things I do so I know I am still kidlike...hmmmm....

    Foodfights at family gatherings.
Unscrewing the cap on the salt but leaving in on top of the container.
Clear Celophane over the toilet bowl, but under the seat stretched tight, so you can't see it!
Having a waterballoon fight with someone fully dressed and not expecting a waterballoon fight.
Bananas in the tailpipe of a car.
Leaving chewed gum on the elevator buttons.
Stepping in dogshit, then wiping it off on the escalator.
Leaning a garbage can against the outside of an elevator's doors before it opens.
Tipping over a port-a-pottie with someone inside, preferably with the door down, so they can't get out.
Untightening the front bolt on the handlebars of someone's bike.
Lighting firecrackers in someone else's hand, when they are not looking.
Stacking the beer in the fridge, so they fall out the next time the door opens. (truly a sin)
Setting someone's alarm clock to go off at a very early time.
Picking your nose, and wiping the snot on a door handle to a store or market.

That is all I can think of for now.

Of course, there were cruel things that we did as kids also, but, I don't want to give you any bad ideas.
