Relationship Advice From Lex

After swallowing your pride and apologizing for being an ass after a Sunday spat, it's best not to say:
Lex: "I missed the Steelers/Chiefs game because of this arguing. Lucky it was a landslide, or we'd still be fighting right now."

After the words fell from my mouth, I realized this was not the most prudent statement to make. Fortunately, it didn't get me in trouble again. Boyfriend is forgiving.

  • Steelers/Chiefs? Lex, I don't get it. Are you a fan of either of those teams? Or was this just another power play about watching TV?

I will admit it! I am a 49er Fan! I get trashed on a regular basis down here in Florida for that fact. However, when people start talking Superbowl, they don't want to hear from me :)

  • Oh God no, fan of neither, just the game.

This is purely the result of the shitty options we have here in Phoenix. The Eagles/Saints game was excellent.

4ers For Life. They're coming back, just, you know, rebuilding right now. But I smell a rerise of the dynasty.

  • Go Bears. You all can deal with my 5-0 soon to be 6-0. Bears play niners soon. We'll be something and 0 by then.

I have to scold Brooklyn when she makes me miss games or Warcraft or something like that. She won't answer the phone when she's watching Laguan or Project Runway. So it's deserved.

  • I give the Bears credit. If they don't suffer any injuries this season, I don't see anybody stopping them from a revised version of the SuperBowl Shuffle! That defense is great. What I like about the Bears this year, is that they don't have Mike Ditka and McMann and that bunch of Yahoos, who won it last time. This bunch acts more professional, heck, anybody acts more professional than that bunch in 86!

Give my 9ers about 2 years, then, lets talk. In the meantime, I am enjoying the Saints in NO! (This doesn't mean I am a Saint fan. They are on TV in this market a lot, and compared to the Bucs or Dolphins, the Saints are fun to watch!)

  • Let's not give the Bears too much credit. We here in Phoenix are full on prepared to see them get their asses handed to them by our Cardinals tonight. Psht. Not. But if they do, Arbusto has to wear a dress. Wait, that's not embarassing for him. If the Bears lose, Arbusto has to wear a 49ers hat.

    =)

  • I would have worn the dress. This game was terrible. The team should have to wear dresses. Holy crap. Terrible.

  • OMG! I went to bed last night with the Cardinals leading 23-3 late in the 3rd quarter. I thought the game was done! I was wondering in my head how I could have been so wrong about the Bears!

Lex, talking to you at halftime was fun :) Sorry to get you all worked up to talk S to Arbusto about that game!

Although the Bears came back on the strength of their defense and special teams, I have to wonder about a team that can't score an offensive TD against the Cardinals 27th ranked defense! I am reserving judgement on the Superbowl Shuffle hype until late November - at least! What made me feel that way about the Bears was how they handled the Seahawks a few weeks ago!

    Until next Sunday...:)
